Quotes. What makes them so popular? What is it about quotes that humans are really attracted to? Quotes preface chapters in magazines. They are painted on the walls of our schools. We frame them and them in our homes. We send these phones each other in cards and letters. They grace the halls of our own work areas and are etched into our headstones once we die. Why do people like quotes?

The most effective answer to this question was awarded to Alema Pequoia who said, "Because they precisely and definitively express that which you know, recognize, feel, believe, think, accept, imagine, hope, fear, desire, acknowledge, and/or have seen. It is a recognizable life truth."

Exactly what are quotes anyway? Just how do the simple organization of some words have such impact? A recently available tour of the Library of Congress revealed numerous quotes in the great books ever written over the doors and windows of the upper floor. It turned out a pleasure to read all of the quotes so carefully placed. Certainly, quotes have been enjoyed for a very long time. Could it be that words resonate which has a specific vibrational frequency? Is it feasible that the combination of words carries an effect far beyond the individual words themselves? Can there be an electrical frequency created from the combination of words reaching out and connects to brains actually resonating with our very being? It is a fact that quotes mean different things to different people. Perhaps our very beings will be affected in some way by the mixtures of words we call quotes.

best quotes and sayings

Why do people like quotes? They correspond with us, conforming to our minds and hearts. They talk to our inner selves inspiring, building, and motivating. They provide us answers, new perspectives, and vision. They build courage, perseverance, and hope. They create us laugh making us cry. Quotes teach us about things we've no knowledge of. They be the warning against foolish decisions. They lighten our moods, lift our heads, and make our burdens light. They fill our hearts with love, forgiveness, and sunshine. Quotes are ideal for the soul.

So write down quotes that resonate along with you - not just any quote - but the ones that make you say, "Wow, I like that." Or ones that make you bust up laughing. Remember, if you gather and jot down quotes, you are, in an exceedingly real sense, creating yourself. Quotes have energy. Produce a great self by gathering great quotes whilst them in a great place, being a Literary Journal, or possibly a Quote Journal, to read them whenever you want or need.

Writing quotes down manually, the long, traditional way, is the best way to remember them and internalize them. After all, "writing chrystallizes thought."
